Description

The Voltis is a 107mm diameter round frame in black polycarbonate, designed to house a recessed downlight module as part of Ideal Lux's modular lighting system. The frame accepts a separate light source, reflector and recessed ring (all sold separately), allowing the downlight to be configured for flood, spot or wall-wash applications depending on which reflector and ring combination is chosen.

Designed for residential and commercial recessed lighting installations, the frame cuts into plasterboard ceilings using a 107mm hole saw and is secured with spring-loaded clips that press against the back of the ceiling void. The frame provides the structural housing and finished bezel that sits flush with the ceiling plane once the reflector and ring are clipped in. The 107mm aperture suits spaces requiring broader light distribution than compact 50-70mm downlights, making it appropriate for living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, and retail or office spaces where 400-600mm spacing between fittings is typical.

The Voltis frame is the structural housing only. You need to separately purchase a compatible Voltis light source module, a reflector (which determines beam angle), and a recessed ring (which holds the reflector in place). All three components clip together inside this frame.
