Description

The Voltis is a 13W constant current LED driver delivering 350mA output with 1-10V dimming control. The driver maintains a fixed current of 350mA across the connected LED load regardless of minor voltage fluctuations, which protects LED lifespan and prevents brightness variation. The white plastic housing measures 108mm x 52mm x 30mm and fits typical ceiling voids and recessed light housings.

Designed for indoor residential and commercial installations, the driver supports 1-10V dimming protocol, which requires a compatible 1-10V dimmer control on a separate low-voltage wire pair running from the dimmer to the driver. This dimming method is common in commercial lighting control systems and some higher-spec residential installations where smooth dimming performance is needed. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only.

The constant current design delivers a stable 350mA to the LED load, making it suitable for LED panels, downlights and strips that specify a 350mA drive current. The 13W maximum output allows the driver to power multiple low-wattage LEDs in series or a single higher-wattage LED module up to that limit. The push-fit terminals on the driver accept solid or stranded cable up to 1.5mm² for mains input and LED output connections.

Ideal Lux backs the driver with a 5-year warranty covering component failure and manufacturing defects. The driver meets UK wiring regulations when installed by a qualified electrician and includes thermal overload protection that shuts down the output if the internal temperature exceeds safe operating limits.

Frequently Asked

What does 1-10V dimming mean?

1-10V dimming is a commercial dimming protocol that uses a separate low-voltage control wire pair running from a 1-10V dimmer to the driver. The dimmer sends a signal voltage between 1V and 10V, with 10V representing maximum brightness and 1V representing minimum brightness. This requires a 1-10V compatible dimmer — standard household dimmers will not work with this driver.

What LEDs can this driver power?

The driver delivers a constant 350mA output, so it suits any LED load that specifies a 350mA drive current and has a total wattage of 13W or less. Common applications include LED downlights, LED panels and LED strip sections designed for constant current operation.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the driver is not protected against moisture ingress and must be installed in dry indoor locations only. For bathrooms, use an IP44-rated or higher driver positioned outside the bathroom zones.

Where does the driver install?

The driver typically installs in a ceiling void, recessed light housing or control cabinet where access is available for wiring and future maintenance. The 108mm x 52mm footprint fits most standard downlight housings and allows the driver to be positioned close to the LED load.

Free worldwide delivery

Free worldwide delivery on all orders over £99. International orders for third-party brand products may be subject to an additional courier surcharge based on volumetric weight, particularly on larger lighting fixtures — if a surcharge applies, our team will email you with the amount before dispatch and you can proceed or cancel for a full refund. See full delivery terms.

Returns

30-day returns window from delivery. As all our products are electrical or lighting goods, returned items must be inspected and recertified by a qualified electrician before resale — the cost of this inspection (25–40% of the item value) is deducted from your refund.
