Description
The Vespera is a single outdoor spotlight with an adjustable head mounted on a ground spike or wall bracket (both mounting options included), finished in brown powder-coated die-cast aluminium. The fitting takes one E27 bulb (sold separately) and carries an IP65 rating, protecting against dust ingress and water jets from any direction.
Designed for driveways, garden borders, building facade uplighting and outdoor security applications, the spotlight head rotates on a multi-axis joint allowing the beam to be aimed at architectural features, planting, doorways or pathways. The 250mm projection from the mounting point gives clearance to angle the light without obstruction, while the 155mm body length keeps the fitting compact enough for planting beds and narrow borders. The brown finish integrates with natural materials and recedes visually against earth, bark mulch and timber cladding.
Die-cast aluminium construction gives the fitting strength and corrosion resistance in coastal and high-humidity environments. The brown powder coating is baked on rather than spray-painted, reducing the risk of flaking or fading under UV exposure. The E27 lampholder accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the maximum wattage stated in the specification table, allowing control over beam angle, colour temperature and lumen output depending on the bulb chosen. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb type installed — most LED E27 bulbs marketed as dimmable will work with standard trailing-edge dimmers.

Frequently Asked
What does IP65 mean for outdoor use?
IP65 confirms the fitting is fully protected against dust ingress and can withstand water jets from any direction. This means the Vespera can be installed in exposed positions including coastal areas, driveways where hosing down occurs, and planting beds where irrigation systems operate.
What bulb should I use?
The fitting takes any standard E27 bulb up to the maximum wattage shown in the Specification table. For garden uplighting most users choose a warm-white LED (2700K-3000K) between 6W and 12W. Narrow beam angles (25-40 degrees) work for uplighting trees or facades; wider beams (60-90 degrees) suit pathway or general area lighting.
Can the head be adjusted after installation?
Yes. The head rotates on a multi-axis joint that can be repositioned at any time without tools. This allows seasonal adjustment as planting grows or to redirect light when outdoor furniture layouts change.
Does it come with a ground spike or wall bracket?
Both mounting options are typically included with the Vespera, allowing the spotlight to be ground-mounted on a spike or fixed to a wall or fence. Check the box contents on delivery to confirm both fittings are present.
