Description

The Velvet is a wall-mounted LED spotlight with a 65mm square nickel backplate and an adjustable cylindrical head housing an integrated 3W 3000K LED. The head rotates on a black joint, allowing the light beam to be directed at artwork, shelving, reading positions or architectural features. The 85mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting compact enough for hallways and alcoves whilst providing enough articulation to angle the light where needed.

Designed as accent or task lighting rather than ambient, the Velvet suits bedside reading positions, above desks, flanking mirrors, highlighting wall art, or illuminating kitchen worktops where under-cabinet lighting is not fitted. The IP20 rating limits installation to dry indoor areas only. The square backplate pairs with contemporary and minimalist interiors, whilst the cylindrical head and exposed joint add an industrial-leaning accent. A black rocker switch on the backplate allows the light to be operated independently of mains wall switches.

The nickel finish is a mid-tone brushed metal that sits between the warmer tones of brass and the cooler tones of polished chrome, making it adaptable across a range of interior colour palettes. The integrated 3W LED produces warm white light at 3000K, suitable for residential interiors where warmer tones are preferred over daylight-white.
