Description
The Vasa is a 310mm wide outdoor wall light with a graphite powder-coated die-cast aluminium body and an up-and-down beam design. A single E27 bulb inside the fitting casts light both upwards and downwards through translucent diffuser panels top and bottom, creating a balanced wash on the wall surface above and below the fitting.
Designed for mounting on exterior walls beside front doors, along garden pathways, or flanking garage entrances, the Vasa provides directional accent light rather than area floodlighting. The 155mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of door frames and window sills, while the 125mm height sits comfortably between standard brickwork courses. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and high-pressure water jets, making the fitting suitable for exposed positions in coastal areas and rain-facing elevations.
The die-cast aluminium construction and powder-coated graphite finish resist corrosion in saline environments, backed by a 5-year guarantee with no coastal exclusion zone. The fitting accepts any standard E27 LED or halogen bulb up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose warm-white, cool-white or RGB colour temperatures depending on the application. The graphite tone sits between matt black and charcoal grey, pairing with contemporary renders, brick and timber cladding without the stark contrast of pure black.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Vasa take?
The fitting takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for exterior accent lighting.
Is the Vasa suitable for coastal locations?
Yes. The die-cast aluminium body and powder-coated graphite finish resist corrosion in saline environments, and the 5-year Norlys guarantee carries no coastal exclusion zone, meaning it covers coastal installations.
How is the fitting wired?
The Vasa requires mains voltage 230V wiring from a junction box or exterior lighting circuit. The fitting is designed for surface mounting on masonry, timber or render using the concealed back plate. Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
Can the up-and-down beam angles be adjusted?
No. The beam angles are fixed by the internal reflector and diffuser panels. The fitting casts light both upwards and downwards in equal measure, creating a symmetrical wash on the wall surface.
