Description

The Valentina is a 194mm mini pendant built around an oxidized bronze frame with four curved arms that support a clear cut-crystal shade cylinder and suspend five teardrop crystal pendants below. A single E27 bulb sits inside the crystal cylinder, which is topped with a crystal bobeche ring. The oxidized bronze finish shows a deliberately aged patina with darker tonal variation across the metalwork.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, dining tables and entrance halls, the Valentina works as a single pendant in compact spaces or grouped in pairs or threes along longer surfaces. The 194mm diameter and 368mm body height suit rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upward, with the chain-adjustable drop allowing the pendant to be set between 552mm and 2013mm from the ceiling rose. Most installations position the bottom of the crystal droplets 700-800mm above a worktop or table surface.

The cut-crystal elements catch and refract light from the central bulb, casting fractured light patterns onto surrounding surfaces when lit and providing decorative sparkle even when off. The pendant takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 4-6W and 2700K to complement the vintage aesthetic and crystal elements.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The chain length is adjustable during installation only. Once the pendant is wired and the ceiling rose canopy is fitted, the drop is fixed. Choose the desired drop height before completing the installation.

How many pendants are needed for a kitchen island?

For a typical 1.8-2.4m island, two Valentina pendants spaced 600-900mm apart provide balanced task and decorative light. For islands longer than 2.4m, three pendants spaced evenly give better coverage.

How are the crystals cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe each crystal piece with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, then dry immediately. Avoid sprays, polishes or soaking the metal frame.
