Description

The Unity single-phase track L-connector is a corner joiner for Maytoni's Unity surface-mounted track lighting system, forming a 90-degree angle where two track sections meet. The connector houses internal copper contacts that carry 220-240V single-phase power through the turn, allowing spotlights and pendants to be positioned on either arm of the L-shaped junction.

Designed for retail displays, galleries, kitchens and living spaces where track lighting needs to wrap around corners or define zones within a room, the L-connector allows track runs to follow wall angles, ceiling beams or architectural features without needing separate power feeds for each section. The 70mm x 70mm footprint and 17mm height match the Unity track profile, giving a flush continuous line through the corner with no visible gaps or misalignment.

The black plastic body conceals the internal copper contacts and provides electrical insulation between the live conductors and the mounting surface. The connector clips into the Unity track channel on both arms using the same locking mechanism as Unity spotlights, requiring no additional screws or fixings once the track sections are ceiling-mounted. Two screw holes on the top plate allow the connector to be fixed directly to the ceiling for additional support in long track runs.

Is this compatible with three-phase track systems?

No. This L-connector is designed for single-phase Unity track only. Three-phase systems require a different connector with additional conductors. Check your existing track system specification before ordering.

How is the connector installed?

The connector clips into the Unity track channel on both arms using the same locking mechanism as Unity spotlights. Two screw holes on the top plate allow ceiling fixing for additional support if needed.

Can spotlights be mounted directly onto the L-connector?
