The Unity recessed track X-connector is a white aluminium junction piece that joins four single-phase track sections in a cross formation, allowing track lighting runs to branch in perpendicular directions. The connector sits flush with the ceiling when installed in a recessed track system, maintaining a continuous line across the junction rather than creating a visible step or gap between track sections.

Designed for commercial and residential installations where track lighting needs to extend across multiple ceiling planes or change direction to follow architectural features, the X-connector supports configurations such as retail floor layouts with intersecting aisles, office open-plan spaces with workstation clusters, and gallery or exhibition spaces where lighting tracks follow wall lines that meet at corners. The connector maintains continuous power distribution across all four arms, rated for AC 220-240V throughout the junction.

The 13cm square footprint matches standard single-phase recessed track widths, and the white powder-coated aluminium finish coordinates with white-finished track sections to create a unified ceiling appearance. No. The Unity X-connector is designed specifically for recessed track installations where the track body sits within the ceiling plane. Surface-mounted track systems require a different connector profile.
