Description

The Unity recessed track L-shaped connector is a 95mm x 95mm aluminium junction component that creates 90-degree corners within single-circuit recessed track lighting systems. The connector sits flush with the ceiling when installed, with copper contact rails visible inside each leg that maintain electrical continuity through the corner turn.

Designed for recessed track installations in retail, gallery, office and residential ceiling layouts, the connector allows track runs to turn corners without needing to interrupt the circuit or install separate power feeds at each wall. The black powder-coated aluminium housing matches the Unity recessed track profile and conceals the joint once the track sections are locked into place on either side.

The connector accepts track sections on two perpendicular axes, with internal spring-loaded contacts that grip the track rails when pushed home. Installation requires the recessed track channel to already be cut into the ceiling plasterboard or suspended ceiling grid at the corner point, with the connector dropping into the channel before the track sections are inserted from either direction. The 20mm depth matches standard Unity track height.

No. This connector is specifically designed for recessed track installations where the track channel is cut into the ceiling. Surface-mounted track systems use different connector profiles.

What track sections does this work with?

The connector is part of the Maytoni Unity recessed track system and works with Unity single-circuit recessed track sections. It will not fit other manufacturers' track profiles even if the voltage rating matches.

Does it carry power through the corner?

Yes. Internal copper contact rails maintain electrical continuity through the 90-degree turn, so track spotlights can be positioned anywhere along either leg of the track run without needing separate power feeds.

Can it be used to create T-junctions?

No. This is an L-shaped connector for 90-degree corners only. T-junction connectors are sold separately within the Unity system if you need to branch a track run in three directions.
