The Truman is a 5-light chandelier built around five curved arms radiating from a central column, each arm supporting an etched opal glass shade and an E27 socket. The metal frame is finished in antique nickel, a mid-tone grey-silver with subtle darkening in the recesses that gives the fitting a weathered, lived-in character. The sloped arms arc outward and downward before curving back up to the bulb position, creating a broad 686mm diameter spread suitable for dining tables and larger rooms.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Truman provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The 733mm minimum drop suits standard ceiling heights, while the 1524mm adjustable chain extends the maximum drop to 2258mm for double-height spaces or above staircases. The etched opal glass diffuses light from the five bulbs evenly across the room, softening shadows without directing light sharply downward. Each socket takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), allowing flexibility to choose LED, filament or halogen sources depending on desired light temperature and brightness.

The antique nickel finish sits between polished chrome and aged pewter in tone, making it compatible with both warm-toned and cool-toned interiors. The cast finials at the canopy, central stem and arm ends add traditional detailing without becoming ornate. The opal glass shades are smooth etched rather than clear, so the bulb filament is obscured when lit, giving a cohesive glow rather than visible point sources.
