Description

The Tone-4 is a 395mm geometric wire pendant light built from steel wire bent into a flared cage shape that tapers at the top and spreads into a wider diamond-profile base. The entire frame is finished in matt black and houses a single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately) that sits visibly inside the open cage, making the bulb choice part of the overall appearance.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Tone-4 works as task lighting over worktops and breakfast bars, or as ambient accent lighting when grouped in multiples over a dining table. The 1m cable is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to hang 600-800mm above a surface depending on the ceiling height. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only.

The wire cage spacing allows the bulb and its light pattern to remain visible through the frame rather than being diffused by a shade, so pairing the Tone-4 with a decorative filament bulb or a clear LED bulb shows the light source as part of the design. The matt black finish on the steel absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping focus on the bulb itself and the shadow patterns the cage casts onto surrounding surfaces when lit.

The Tone-4 is manufactured by Ideal Lux in Italy and carries a five-year warranty. Dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb. The pendant canopy measures approximately 100mm in diameter and fits standard UK ceiling roses.
