Description

The Tone-1 is a 350mm wire cage pendant light built from curved metal strips welded into a bulb-shaped frame, finished in white. A single E27 lampholder sits at the centre of the cage, suspended on a 780mm adjustable cable from a matching white ceiling rose. The open metalwork allows the bulb itself to become the primary light source, with the cage adding decorative structure around it.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and living spaces where a single pendant provides focused downlight over a worktop, table or seating area, the Tone-1 works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The 780mm cable can be shortened during installation to suit lower ceilings or lengthened for double-height spaces. The white finish pairs with Scandinavian-style interiors, coastal schemes and modern minimalist settings where a softer alternative to black metalwork is needed.

The cage structure measures 380mm in height and 350mm in diameter, giving the fitting a substantial visual presence without blocking sightlines across a room. The welded metal strips curve outward from the top canopy before tapering back in at the base, creating a bulbous silhouette that references traditional glass pendants while remaining entirely open-frame. What bulb does it take?

The Tone-1 takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair it with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 6-10W for ambient dining or kitchen lighting, or a clear filament bulb where the exposed bulb design is part of the aesthetic.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 780mm cable can be shortened during installation by looping the excess cable inside the ceiling rose or back box. For longer drops, contact us to confirm whether an extension cable is available for this model.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means the Tone-1 is not protected against moisture ingress and should only be installed in dry indoor areas. It is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens directly above sinks or hobs, or any area where water spray or condensation is present.
