The Swift Glass is an 800mm six-arm chandelier from Ideal Lux, built around a curved matt black metal frame with a velvet-covered suspension chain. Each of the six arms curves outward from a central sphere and terminates in an upward-facing E14 bulb fitting with a metal bobeche cup. The matt black finish runs across the entire metal structure, giving a uniform dark tone that contrasts sharply with warm-toned bulb light.

Designed for dining rooms, open-plan living spaces and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Swift provides ambient candle-style lighting across a 2.5-3m table or 4-5m room. The six arms spread light in a wide pattern rather than concentrating it downward, so the chandelier works better as general illumination or mood lighting than as task light over a work surface. The velvet chain cover softens the industrial edge of the black metal and conceals the cable run between ceiling rose and canopy.

The matt black powder-coat finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping the fixture visually quiet even when lit.
