Description

The Stockholm is an outdoor wall lantern built around a clear glass cylinder housed in a black galvanized steel cage with horizontal ribbing and a wide roof cap. The fitting mounts on a circular backplate and extends 290mm from the wall on a cylindrical arm. An E27 lampholder inside the glass accepts bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), and the IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction.

Designed for entrance porches, pathway lighting beside front doors, garage walls and courtyard areas, the Stockholm provides downward and outward light distribution through the clear glass and open cage structure. The 310mm height and 270mm diameter give the lantern visible presence on typical residential walls without dominating smaller entrances. The upward-facing roof cap prevents rain from pooling on the glass and directs rainfall away from the bulb chamber.

Norlys manufactures the Stockholm from galvanized steel coated in a black powder finish, which provides corrosion resistance in coastal environments without a coastal exclusion zone. The horizontal cage ribs cast shadow patterns when the lantern is lit, adding decorative function alongside the primary task lighting.
