Description

The Starry is a 49cm outdoor bollard light with a grey porous resin column set on a matt black painted metal base. An integrated 9W LED inside casts 4000K neutral white light downward through two vertical slits in the column, creating twin beams that graze the ground either side of the bollard. The IP55 rating protects the internals against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction.

Designed for pathway edging, patio perimeters and garden borders, the 49cm height positions the light source below typical eye level when standing, reducing glare while marking the boundary of a walkable surface. The downward-only beam pattern means no light is wasted upward into the sky, concentrating the output where it's needed to define steps, path edges or driveway margins. The square 180mm footprint requires a flat mounting surface with fixing holes for the base plate.

The porous resin body mimics the texture and weight of natural concrete or stone but is lighter for installation and resists cracking under frost-thaw cycles better than solid concrete would. The grey finish weathers to a slightly lighter tone over time when exposed to direct sunlight. The matt black metal base and top cap frame the resin column and conceal the cable entry point at the base. The 4000K colour temperature provides crisp neutral white light that renders colours more accurately than warm-white alternatives, useful for security applications where recognition matters.
