The Sparxis is a 100mm white fabric wall lampshade designed as a replacement shade for Ideal Lux wall lights. The shade is a rectangular box form, 100mm wide with a 97mm projection from the wall, made from white fabric stretched over an internal frame.

Designed to replace worn or damaged fabric shades on existing wall fittings, the Sparxis fits Ideal Lux wall light frames that accept box-form fabric shades. The white fabric diffuses light from the bulb behind it, softening the output and reducing glare on adjacent walls or ceilings. The 100mm width suits compact wall lights in bedrooms, hallways, and living rooms where a smaller scale is needed.

The fabric is a plain-weave white cotton or polyester blend that allows light to pass through while concealing the bulb and internal structure. The box form means the shade has four sides plus a top, with the bottom open to the wall plate. The 97mm projection keeps the shade close to the wall, maintaining a low profile suitable for narrow hallways or beside beds where deeper projections would obstruct movement.

Is this a complete wall light or just the shade?

This is the fabric shade only. It is designed to fit onto existing Ideal Lux wall light frames that accept box-form fabric shades. The wall plate, bulb holder and wiring are not included.

What size bulb does it accommodate?

The shade dimensions suggest it will fit wall lights with E14 or E27 bulb holders. Check the bulb holder on your existing wall fitting before ordering to confirm compatibility.

Can the fabric be cleaned?

Fabric lampshades collect dust over time. Use a soft brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner or a dry microfibre cloth to remove surface dust. Do not wash or use water, as this may damage the fabric structure or cause the adhesive holding the fabric to the frame to fail.

What depth from the wall does the shade need?

The shade projects 97mm from the wall. The wall fitting needs to provide enough clearance for the shade to sit without touching the wall surface or the bulb inside.
