Description

The Sparx is a 59W constant voltage LED driver with 1-10V dimming protocol, housed in a 280mm white metal case with terminal connections at one end. The driver converts mains AC to stable DC output at constant voltage, suitable for powering LED strip installations, architectural lighting runs and multi-fixture LED arrays where individual fixtures expect regulated DC input rather than mains voltage.

Designed for commercial and residential installations requiring dimming control, the driver accepts a 1-10V control signal from compatible dimmer modules or building management systems. The 1-10V protocol allows stepless dimming from 100% down to approximately 10% output without flicker, covering the range needed for task lighting, accent lighting and general ambient control in offices, retail environments, hospitality spaces and residential living areas. The constant voltage architecture ensures all connected LED fixtures receive the same stable voltage regardless of load, preventing uneven brightness across a run.

The 280mm length and 21mm depth allow the driver to be installed in ceiling voids, behind panels or within joinery where mains wiring terminates and DC output begins. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments only — not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use or any location where moisture is present. The white powder-coated metal case provides passive cooling via convection, and the driver carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux covering manufacturing defects and component failure under normal operating conditions.
