Description

The Sparkeon is a twin-head bar spotlight with two independently adjustable GU10 fittings on a 315mm black die-cast aluminium bar. Each spotlight head rotates through 360° and tilts on its axis, allowing light to be directed at artwork, worktops, or specific zones within a room. The fitting takes two GU10 bulbs (sold separately) and is rated IP20 for dry indoor use.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, hallways and feature wall lighting, the Sparkeon mounts directly to the wall or ceiling with a rectangular 77mm-high backplate. The 125mm projection from the wall gives enough standoff for the heads to angle light downwards without creating harsh shadows directly below the fitting. The twin-head configuration provides more coverage than a single spotlight while remaining compact enough for standard ceiling heights of 2.4m.

The black powder-coated finish on the die-cast aluminium housing resists fingerprints and pairs cleanly with black kitchen cabinetry, graphite walls and monochrome interiors. The spotlight heads use a friction joint that holds position once adjusted but can be repositioned as needed without tools. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable GU10 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

What bulbs does the Sparkeon take?

Each head takes a standard GU10 bulb (sold separately). Most users pair this with warm-white LED GU10 bulbs between 5-7W and 2700K-3000K for kitchens and offices, or 4000K for task-focused spaces. The fitting supports halogen GU10s up to the maximum wattage rating shown in the specification table.

Can the spotlight heads be adjusted after installation?

Yes. Each head rotates through 360° on the bar and tilts on a friction joint, so you can reposition the light direction at any time without tools. The friction joint holds the head in place once adjusted.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is rated for dry indoor use only and is not protected against moisture. It is not suitable for bathrooms, shower rooms or any zone within 3m of a water source.

Can it be ceiling-mounted as well as wall-mounted?

Yes. The rectangular backplate can be fixed to either a wall or a ceiling surface, making the Sparkeon suitable as overhead task lighting or as directional accent lighting on a feature wall.
