Description

The Solixis is a battery-powered LED table lamp with a 150mm diameter matt black metal base and matching shade, connected by a transparent acrylic column. The integrated 3.6W LED sits inside the upper shade and delivers 3000K warm white light downwards through the open base of the shade onto the surface below. The battery is also housed in the shade, making the entire lamp cordless and requiring no mains connection.

Designed for bedside tables, desks, side tables and shelving where a mains socket isn't available or where running a cable would create clutter, the Solixis places 250mm of warm downlight wherever it's needed. The base, stem and shade connect magnetically, allowing the lamp to be assembled or disassembled without tools and reducing the risk of damage during repositioning. The dimmable LED can be adjusted to suit reading, ambient background light, or low-level evening illumination.

The transparent acrylic stem gives the lamp visual lightness despite the solid black metal components at top and bottom. The matt black finish on the base and shade absorbs reflections and sits comfortably in contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors without drawing attention away from the objects around it. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor locations.
