Description

The Solixia is a 1660mm floor lamp combining a white powder-coated metal frame with a natural oak rod and a white fabric-covered shade. The metal arm extends from a rectangular base and pivots on the oak rod, allowing the shade to be positioned over a sofa, reading chair or side table. A single E27 bulb fitting (sold separately) sits inside the fabric shade, which diffuses the light source to reduce glare.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and study areas where directed ambient light is preferred over overhead ceiling fittings, the Solixia suits modern and coastal interiors. The 420mm horizontal projection from the base to the shade means the lamp can be positioned against a wall or behind furniture without the shade overhanging into walking routes. The metal frame is powder-coated rather than painted, giving a consistent white finish that resists chipping under typical domestic use.

The oak rod runs through the centre of the metal stem, acting as both a visual accent and the structural pivot for the arm. The natural grain and tone of the oak varies between individual lamps depending on the section of timber used. The white fabric shade measures approximately 300mm diameter and sits on a white metal frame, giving the lamp a total weight of around 3kg. The cable includes an inline switch positioned for convenient reach from a seated position.
