Description

The Solisera is a 600mm diameter semi-flush ceiling light mounting twelve G9 bulbs on a polished chrome frame, with cascading cut crystal droplets in spherical and octagonal shapes suspended on fine chains. The chrome canopy sits 200-250mm below the ceiling, keeping the crystal display within reach of standard 2.4m ceiling heights while still providing the visual impact of a chandelier.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and living rooms where ceiling height limits traditional chandelier drops, the semi-flush configuration gives decorative presence without the 600-800mm drop of a full suspension fitting. The twelve G9 bulbs (sold separately) distribute light across the crystal array, with each faceted piece acting as a secondary light source as it catches and scatters the bulb light into the room. Dimmable when paired with compatible G9 LED bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer.

The polished chrome finish on the frame and chains reflects ambient light during the day and provides a cool metallic accent that pairs with greys, whites and contemporary colour schemes. Each crystal drop is individually hung, so the fitting arrives with crystals packed separately for assembly on installation. The combined weight of chrome metalwork and glass requires a secure ceiling fixing into a joist or suitable anchor — the mounting plate is 120mm diameter and takes standard UK ceiling wiring.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and paired with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. Not all G9 LEDs dim smoothly, so check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchase.

What ceiling height is needed?

The semi-flush design suits rooms with 2.4m ceiling heights and above. The canopy sits 200-250mm below the ceiling, with the longest crystal drops extending approximately 150mm further, so total projection from ceiling to lowest crystal is around 350-400mm.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal drop with a dry microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, individual crystals can be removed from their hooks, washed in warm soapy water, rinsed, dried and re-hung. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the chrome frame or electrical components.
