The Solarae is a 4 light floor lamp built around a polished chrome central column with four adjustable arms, each holding a clear blown glass globe that houses a G4 bulb. The arms radiate from the central stem at offset heights and angles, allowing the glass diffusers to be positioned independently. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient room light and gives the frame a mirror-like surface.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and study areas where ambient rather than task lighting is needed, the Solarae provides soft dispersed light through the blown glass globes. The 560mm diameter spread at the head works in rooms with floor space of 3m or wider, typically positioned beside a sofa, in a corner reading nook, or flanking a console table. The weighted circular base provides stability on carpets and hard floors without requiring wall anchoring.

Each glass globe is hand-blown, so slight variation in thickness and bubble presence between the four diffusers is normal. The clear glass allows the G4 capsule bulbs (sold separately) to remain visible when lit, which suits interiors where exposed bulbs are part of the aesthetic.
