Description

The Solar is a 2-light outdoor wall light with dual E27 fittings housed in a cylindrical brushed chrome aluminium body and fitted with Pyrex glass top and bottom diffusers. The light casts both upward and downward beams, illuminating wall surfaces above the fitting and ground surfaces below, useful for marking entrance porches, pathways and garden steps where visibility and orientation are needed after dark.

Rated IP54, the Solar resists water spray from any direction and prevents dust ingress, making it suitable for installation on external walls, covered patios and under eaves where it will be exposed to rain and wind but not submerged. The 310mm projection from the wall gives clearance for the dual light spread without the body sitting flush against the surface. The 110mm diameter cylinder fits proportionally on single-storey porch walls, garage sides and between ground-floor windows without dominating the facade.

The brushed chrome finish on the aluminium body is a directional satin texture that diffuses reflections and resists visible water spotting better than polished chrome. The Pyrex glass diffusers are heat-resistant and less prone to thermal shock than standard glass, allowing the fitting to handle higher-wattage E27 bulbs if needed. The dual-bulb configuration gives flexibility to use two matching bulbs for balanced light or two different colour temperatures if independent zoning is wanted between up-light and down-light beams.
