Description

The Solana is a 6-light wall or semi-flush ceiling light built around a matt black linear metal frame that holds six smoked Pyrex glass globes, each housing a G9 bulb (sold separately). The frame measures 490mm long by 250mm projection and can be mounted horizontally on a wall or fixed close to the ceiling as a semi-flush fitting, giving flexibility depending on the room layout and ceiling height.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above, the Solana works as ambient lighting when ceiling-mounted or as accent lighting when wall-mounted above a sofa, sideboard or bed headboard. The six G9 bulbs are dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer, allowing light levels to be adjusted from functional brightness to low-level atmospheric glow. The smoked glass diffuses the bulb filament or LED elements while allowing enough light transmission to illuminate a 4-5m room when all six bulbs are lit.

The matt black finish on the metal frame absorbs reflections and pairs cleanly with industrial, contemporary and mid-century interiors. Each smoked glass globe is hand-blown Pyrex, so slight tonal variation between individual spheres is normal. Yes. The Solana is designed for dual-mount installation. When wall-mounted it projects 250mm from the surface; when ceiling-mounted it sits close to the ceiling (semi-flush) with the same 250mm depth below the ceiling line.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means this fitting is for dry indoor locations only. It is not rated for bathroom zones or any area where it may be exposed to moisture, steam or splashes.
