Description

The Sky-2 is a 400mm diameter smoked glass pendant light with a hand-blown diffuser in a flattened UFO profile, suspended from a black painted metal canopy and cable. The glass is shaped into a wide disc with a pinched waist, giving the fitting visual weight without overwhelming the ceiling rose. A single E27 bulb sits inside the glass envelope, with the smoked finish softening direct glare and casting warm diffused light downward and outward.

Designed for positioning over dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars where ambient and task light are needed together, the Sky-2 works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The 400mm diameter provides enough coverage for a 1.2-1.6m table without requiring multiple fittings. The cable length is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be set 700-900mm above the table surface depending on ceiling height and personal preference.

The smoked grey tone of the glass pairs cleanly with industrial, mid-century and contemporary interiors, particularly those using exposed brick, concrete, timber or muted colour palettes. The black painted metal canopy and cable give a defined edge against white or pale ceilings. Each glass diffuser is hand-blown by Ideal Lux artisans, so minor variations in the glass thickness and tonal density between individual pieces are normal. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible E27 LED bulb and dimmer switch.
