Description

The Shelly is a single-light bathroom wall light built around a polished chrome backplate and a fluted opal glass shade. The shade sits on a decorative stem with turned detailing at the base and neck, giving the fitting a classical silhouette. The fitting is rated IP44, allowing installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3 where it may be exposed to splashes but not direct water jets.

Designed for mirror-side placement or general bathroom wall lighting, the Shelly casts a soft ambient wash through the opal glass while the fluting pattern adds vertical visual texture. The 187mm projection from the wall positions the light source forward of typical recessed fixtures, making it suitable for task lighting around vanity units and mirrors. The fitting is supplied with a 3W G9 LED bulb at 3000K colour temperature, providing warm light output from installation.

The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, which covers positions more than 60cm from a shower head or bath edge. It is not rated for zone 0 (inside a shower cubicle) or zone 1 (directly above a bath or shower tray).

Is the bulb replaceable?

Yes. The fitting takes a standard G9 LED bulb up to 3W. The supplied bulb is a 3W LED at 3000K, but this can be replaced with any G9 LED of equivalent wattage if a different colour temperature is preferred.

Can the Shelly be dimmed?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific LED bulb installed and the dimmer model. Many G9 LED bulbs are not dimmable. If dimming is required, confirm the bulb specification supports dimming and pair with a compatible LED dimmer.
