Description

The Shade-3 is a 150mm diameter LED pendant light with a smoked glass shade that tapers from a cylindrical black metal canopy. The integrated LED produces 3000K warm white light that diffuses through the smoked glass and a clear acrylic diffuser panel inside the shade, creating ambient glow rather than focused task light. The metal canopy and suspension rod are powder-coated black.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars and dining areas where pendant lights need to sit 600-750mm above the surface, the Shade-3 works as a single pendant over small tables or in multiples over longer islands. The 2000mm PVC cable can be shortened during installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m. The compact 150mm diameter and 250mm overall height fit neatly above narrow surfaces without dominating the sightline across the room.

The smoked glass finish reduces glare from the integrated LED while allowing warm light to pass through, giving the shade a soft glow when lit and a translucent grey appearance when off. The satin edge on the acrylic panel inside the shade prevents visible LED hot-spots, distributing light evenly through the glass. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor areas only — not suitable for bathrooms or covered outdoor spaces.
