Description

The Seraph is a 5 light chandelier with a hand-painted white metal frame built around flowing scroll arms that curve outwards from a central turned column. Each of the five arms holds a single candle-style E14 fitting on a shallow drip tray, positioned at the outer edge of the scrollwork. The frame is finished in white with an applied antique effect that settles into the recesses of the metalwork, giving the chandelier a weathered cottage aesthetic.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and hallway double-height spaces with ceiling heights above 2.6m, the Seraph provides decorative ambient light across a 3-4m circular area beneath the fitting. The 640mm diameter makes it suitable for rooms measuring 4m x 4m or larger, where it can hang centrally above a dining table or in the centre of a seating arrangement. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing light levels to be adjusted for dining or relaxed evening use.

The metal frame uses traditional scroll bending and welding techniques visible in the join points between the curved arms and the central body. The hand-painted white finish is applied in layers, with the antique effect created by controlled wiping that removes paint from high points while leaving it in the grooves and turned details. This process means the depth of the antique effect varies slightly between individual chandeliers. The 450mm body height excludes the chain drop, which is adjustable during installation to suit the ceiling height and room proportions.
