Description
The Selma is an outdoor LED wall light with an adjustable directional head on a 717mm extendable arm, built from die-cast aluminium and stainless steel in a matt black finish. A 16W integrated LED sits inside the conical shade, delivering focused directional light controlled by a rotating joint at the shade mount and a pivot at the wall plate.
Designed for signage illumination, architectural feature highlighting and commercial facade lighting, the Selma pairs a long reach with precise directional control. The arm extends up to 717mm from the wall, allowing the light to project over deep fascias, awnings or external cladding where shorter wall lights cannot reach. The shade rotates through approximately 180 degrees and tilts on its mount, so the light can be aimed at a sign, a wall texture, a door canopy or down onto an entrance threshold depending on installation needs.
The IP66 rating seals the fitting against dust ingress and high-pressure water jets, making it suitable for exposed coastal locations, industrial yards and high-traffic commercial entrances where washdown or heavy rain is expected. The die-cast aluminium construction resists corrosion and impact, and the matt black powder-coat finish weathers without showing surface wear as quickly as polished or gloss finishes. The 16W LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, reducing the need for lamp replacement on installations where access requires scaffolding or a lift.

Frequently Asked
What does IP66 mean for outdoor use?
IP66 means the fitting is sealed against dust ingress and can withstand high-pressure water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for coastal locations, exposed facades and areas where the light may be hosed down during cleaning.
Is the LED replaceable?
The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to around 10 years of typical commercial use at 8 hours per day.
How is the light direction adjusted?
The shade rotates on its mount and tilts on a pivot joint, allowing the light to be aimed at signage, architectural features or downwards onto entrances. The arm also pivots at the wall plate for additional directional control during installation.
What type of signage does this suit?
The 717mm projection and directional head make the Selma suitable for illuminating projecting signs, fascia boards and external nameplates where the light needs to reach over a deep awning or cladding profile. The focused beam highlights text and graphics without spilling excessive light onto surrounding walls.
