Description

The Sally is an 85mm recessed LED downlight with an IP65 rating, housing an integrated 11W COB LED at 3000K colour temperature behind a white die-cast aluminium trim. The IP65 rating provides full protection against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making the Sally suitable for installation in bathrooms, shower rooms, covered outdoor soffits, and other locations where moisture is present.

Designed for installation into plasterboard or panel ceilings, the Sally provides fixed-direction downward illumination for hallways, bathroom task lighting, kitchen perimeters, and retail or hospitality spaces requiring moisture-resistant fittings. The 3000K warm white output delivers a neutral tone that works across residential and light commercial interiors without the cooler cast of 4000K+ commercial LEDs. The 11W integrated LED cannot be replaced but carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux.

The 85mm diameter keeps the visible trim small enough to fit into standard ceiling grid spacing while the white powder-coated aluminium finish integrates cleanly into white or light-coloured ceilings. The COB (chip-on-board) LED technology concentrates multiple LED chips onto a single circuit, producing more focused light output with less visible point-source glare than older multi-LED arrays. The fitting is non-dimmable and operates on 230V mains without requiring a separate transformer.
