Description

The Maytoni DL058 is an 80mm round recessed downlight with an integrated 12W LED running at 3000K, housed in a matt black aluminium bezel with a brass reflector cone inside the aperture. The fitting sits flush with the ceiling once installed, leaving only the 80mm diameter aperture visible below the plasterwork.

Designed for residential and commercial interiors where ceiling-mounted task or accent lighting is needed without surface projection, the downlight suits living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, retail fitting rooms, restaurant dining areas and hotel corridors. The 12W LED at 3000K provides warm white light comparable to a 75W halogen downlight but at a fraction of the running cost. The brass reflector directs light downward in a focused beam while adding warmth to the colour rendering.

The aluminium construction provides effective heat dissipation through the finned heatsink visible on the top of the housing, which sits above ceiling level and requires approximately 60mm of void depth for installation. The matt black finish on the visible bezel reduces glare and ceiling reflection, making the fitting less visually prominent than white or metallic alternatives. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations away from bathroom zones and outdoor exposure.
