Description

The Rond is a cylindrical wall light with a matt black aluminium body that directs light both upwards and downwards through open apertures at the top and base. A single G9 bulb sits inside the 10cm-diameter cylinder, casting light through both ends to create a band of illumination on the wall above and below the fitting. The 8.8cm height keeps the profile compact against the wall.

Designed for hallways, staircases, living room accent walls and exterior doorways, the Rond provides ambient wall-wash lighting rather than task illumination. The up-down configuration works well in narrow passages where overhead lighting would feel heavy, and on feature walls where the light pattern adds depth. The IP20 rating limits outdoor use to covered areas such as porches or under eaves where the fitting is protected from direct rain.

The aluminium construction gives the Rond a lightweight 300g profile that mounts directly to a standard UK back box without needing additional support. The matt black finish minimises reflections and pairs cleanly with both light-coloured walls (where the contrast adds definition) and darker interiors (where the fitting recedes). The G9 bulb fitting accepts halogen or LED capsules up to 50W, sold separately.

The light projects approximately 40-60cm above and below the fitting depending on the bulb wattage and the wall colour. Darker walls absorb more light and reduce the visible spread; lighter walls reflect more and extend the illuminated band.
