The RekorHD 8-channel analogue DVR records from up to eight 2MP (1080p) analogue cameras to an 8TB pre-installed hard drive, providing approximately 30-60 days of continuous recording depending on motion activity and compression settings. The unit uses H.265 video compression to reduce file sizes by up to 50% compared to H.264, doubling effective storage capacity without reducing image quality.

Designed for residential, small business and light commercial CCTV installations, the DVR supports continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered recording modes. Intelligent functions include perimeter intrusion detection and line crossing detection, which trigger alerts when movement crosses a defined boundary or enters a restricted zone. Remote monitoring is available via Android and iOS apps or PC software, allowing live view, playback and settings adjustment from outside the property. The HDMI output supports 4K display resolution for high-clarity monitoring on modern screens.

The DVR handles simultaneous playback, recording and remote viewing without dropping frames, and stores footage in a format that can be exported to USB for evidence transfer or archiving.
