Description

The RekorHD 8-channel DVR records up to eight 2MP (1080p) analogue cameras simultaneously, with a 4TB hard drive pre-installed. H.265 video compression reduces file sizes by approximately 50% compared to H.264 at the same resolution, doubling effective storage capacity without degrading image quality. The DVR supports continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered recording modes.

Designed for small business, residential and light commercial CCTV installations, the unit provides perimeter intrusion detection and line crossing detection as intelligent functions, reducing false triggers from animals, shadows or camera shake. The 4K HDMI output allows live and playback footage to be viewed on modern high-resolution monitors, while remote monitoring via Android, iOS and PC apps gives access to live feeds and archived footage from outside the property. The DVR can playback, record and stream to remote viewers simultaneously without interrupting recording.

The front panel carries power and HDD status indicators plus a USB port for evidence transfer to flash drives. The mouse-driven user menu simplifies setup and configuration without requiring a keyboard. The unit measures 440mm × 215mm × 285mm and weighs approximately 2kg (net), fitting standard 19-inch rack mounting or horizontal desktop placement.
