Description

The RekorHD 8-channel analogue DVR records and displays up to eight 2MP (1080p) camera feeds simultaneously, storing footage on a pre-installed 1TB hard drive. H.265 video compression reduces file sizes by up to 50% compared to H.264, extending storage capacity and reducing bandwidth for remote viewing without sacrificing image quality.

Designed for residential, small business and workshop installations, the DVR supports continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered recording modes across all eight channels. Perimeter intrusion detection and line crossing detection trigger alerts when motion crosses user-defined boundaries, reducing the volume of false alerts from background movement like trees or passing traffic. Recorded footage can be played back on-screen while the DVR continues recording and streaming to remote devices.

The front panel USB port allows footage to be backed up to a USB drive for evidence transfer or off-site storage. The HDMI output supports 4K display resolution for high-clarity playback on modern monitors, though the recording resolution remains 2MP per channel. Remote monitoring works via the RekorHD app for Android and iOS or through a web browser on PC, allowing live viewing and playback from anywhere with an internet connection. The mouse-driven on-screen menu makes initial setup and configuration straightforward without needing a separate keyboard.
