Description

The RekorHD 8-channel analogue CCTV kit pairs an 8-channel DVR with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive and four IP66-rated 2MP bullet cameras in grey. The DVR records at 1080p resolution using H.265 video compression, which stores approximately twice the footage of older H.264 systems on the same drive capacity. Each bullet camera carries a 3.6mm fixed lens with 30m infrared night vision and automatic day/night switching.

Designed for residential perimeter monitoring, small business premises and outbuildings, the kit covers up to four zones with the supplied cameras while leaving four channels free for expansion. The DVR supports perimeter intrusion detection and line crossing detection, triggering alerts when movement crosses a defined boundary rather than responding to every motion event. Remote monitoring works via iOS and Android apps or PC software, with simultaneous playback, live view and recording.

The kit includes all cabling and power supplies needed for a four-camera installation. Each bullet camera mounts on an adjustable bracket and connects to the DVR via coaxial cable (supplied). The DVR offers continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording modes, with USB backup for transferring footage. The mouse-driven menu system configures zones, recording schedules and detection parameters without requiring separate software.

The grey finish on the camera housings provides a neutral appearance against render, brick and cladding. The IP66 rating protects the cameras against dust ingress and heavy rain, making them suitable for eaves mounting, gable ends and wall positions exposed to weather. The 2TB drive holds approximately 10-14 days of continuous recording from all four cameras at 1080p, or several weeks when set to motion-only recording.
