Description

The RekorHD 4-channel DVR records from up to four analogue CCTV cameras at 2MP (1080p) resolution, storing footage on a 2TB pre-installed hard drive with H.265 video compression. The unit supports perimeter intrusion detection and line crossing detection, triggering recording when movement crosses user-defined zones rather than relying solely on basic motion detection.

Designed for residential and small commercial installations needing simultaneous recording, playback and remote monitoring, the DVR outputs via HDMI at up to 4K resolution for live viewing on a monitor or TV. Remote access works through dedicated Android and iOS apps or PC software, allowing footage review from outside the property. Continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered recording modes can be configured per channel depending on coverage requirements.

The mouse-driven on-screen menu simplifies camera setup, zone configuration and playback without needing a keyboard. USB backup allows footage to be transferred to a USB drive for sharing with insurers or authorities. The DVR measures 425mm wide by 100mm high by 270mm deep and weighs 1.8kg including the hard drive, fitting standard AV racks or wall-mounting brackets. The 2TB capacity provides approximately 10-14 days of continuous recording across four cameras at 2MP, depending on scene complexity and compression settings.

Frequently Asked

How many cameras can this DVR support?

The RekorHD supports up to four analogue CCTV cameras simultaneously, recording each at 2MP resolution. Cameras connect via BNC coaxial cable.

How much footage does 2TB store?

At 2MP with H.265 compression across four cameras, the 2TB drive stores approximately 10-14 days of continuous recording. The exact duration depends on scene activity and compression settings configured in the menu.

Can I view footage remotely?

Yes. The DVR supports remote viewing through dedicated Android and iOS apps, or via PC software. An internet connection is required for remote access, and the DVR must be configured on the local network with port forwarding or cloud services enabled.

What's the difference between perimeter detection and standard motion detection?

Standard motion detection triggers on any movement within the frame. Perimeter intrusion and line crossing detection allow you to define specific zones or boundaries, so recording only triggers when someone crosses those lines rather than reacting to background movement like trees or passing cars.
