The RekorHD 4-channel analogue CCTV kit pairs a 500GB DVR with four 2MP dome cameras, 20m of pre-terminated cable per camera, and a system power supply. Each camera records at 1080p resolution with a 3.6mm fixed lens providing approximately 80-degree horizontal field of view, and an IP66 weatherproof rating for outdoor installation. The DVR uses H.265 video compression to extend storage capacity and supports perimeter intrusion detection and line-crossing detection on each camera channel.

Designed for small retail premises, workshops, domestic garages and residential perimeters where four camera positions cover the required area. The dome cameras suit wall or soffit mounting under eaves, canopies or porch ceilings, and the 30m infrared night vision range allows recording in total darkness. The DVR sits indoors connected to mains power and network, with remote monitoring available via Android, iOS or Windows PC application.

The 500GB pre-installed hard drive provides approximately 10-14 days of continuous recording from all four cameras at 1080p resolution depending on scene complexity and motion levels. The DVR supports continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording modes, with USB backup for transferring footage to an external drive. Playback, live viewing and remote monitoring can run simultaneously without interrupting recording. The mouse-driven menu allows configuration of motion zones, detection sensitivity, recording schedules and network settings without needing keyboard input.

Each grey dome camera housing measures approximately 110mm diameter with a tinted lower dome concealing the lens direction from casual view. The cameras operate on 12V DC supplied via the included power distribution unit, with power and video running over separate cables to the DVR. The system arrives with all cameras, cables, DVR and power supply in a single carton, ready for installation by a competent person familiar with CCTV and low-voltage wiring.

How long does the 500GB hard drive record for?

Approximately 10-14 days of continuous recording from all four cameras at 2MP (1080p) resolution, depending on scene motion and detail. H.265 compression extends storage duration compared to older H.264 systems. Motion-triggered recording extends this further by recording only when movement is detected.

Can the cameras be used outdoors?

Yes. Each dome camera carries an IP66 weatherproof rating, meaning it withstands rain, dust and temporary submersion in water. Mount the cameras under eaves, soffits or canopies where possible to extend service life and reduce direct sun exposure on the dome.

What cable length is included?

The kit includes 20 metres of pre-terminated cable per camera (80 metres total), with BNC video connectors and DC power tails. If camera positions require longer cable runs, extension cables are available separately.

How is remote monitoring set up?

The DVR connects to your router via Ethernet cable (not included). Download the RekorHD app on Android or iOS, scan the QR code from the DVR menu, and log in with the credentials set during initial configuration. Remote viewing works over 4G/5G mobile data or Wi-Fi when away from the premises.
