Description

The RekorHD 4-channel analogue CCTV kit includes a 4-channel DVR with 1TB hard drive pre-installed, four 2MP dome cameras, all cabling and a 12V system power supply. Each camera records in 1080p resolution using H.265 video compression, which reduces storage requirements compared to older H.264 compression while maintaining image quality. The DVR supports continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered recording modes.

Designed for residential and small commercial installation, the kit covers perimeter security and entrance monitoring across properties requiring 4-6 camera positions (this kit supplies four, with capacity to expand). Each dome camera carries an IP66 weatherproof rating for outdoor mounting and includes infrared LEDs providing night vision up to 30m. The cameras use 3.6mm fixed lenses, giving a field of view suited to monitoring driveways, building entrances, side passages and garden perimeters at distances of 5-15m.

The DVR includes perimeter intrusion detection and line crossing detection, which trigger alerts when movement crosses a defined boundary or enters a defined zone. Remote monitoring works via Android and iOS apps or PC software, allowing simultaneous playback, live viewing and recording. USB backup allows footage transfer for evidence purposes. The white camera housings and mounting hardware are supplied with the kit, along with the cables needed to connect all four cameras to the DVR. The mouse-driven menu system runs setup and configuration without requiring keyboard entry.

Each camera weighs approximately 250g and mounts via a three-point bracket to wall or soffit surfaces. The DVR unit measures 440mm wide by 215mm deep by 285mm tall and requires mains power plus ventilation clearance for the rear fan outlet.
