Description

The RekorHD 4-channel analogue CCTV kit pairs a 4-channel DVR with 1TB pre-installed hard drive, four 2MP dome cameras, connection cables and a system power supply. The DVR records at 1080p resolution using H.265 video compression, which reduces file sizes and extends storage capacity compared to older H.264 systems. Each camera carries an IP66 weatherproof rating and infrared capability for night vision up to 30m.

Designed for residential properties, small commercial premises and workshops requiring perimeter monitoring, the kit includes perimeter intrusion detection and line-crossing detection as intelligent functions built into the DVR firmware. These allow the system to trigger recording or alerts when motion crosses a user-defined boundary rather than simply detecting any movement in frame. The DVR supports continuous recording, scheduled recording or motion-triggered recording depending on storage and monitoring needs.

Remote monitoring works via dedicated mobile apps for Android and iOS or through PC software, allowing live viewing, playback and recording management from outside the property. The DVR handles playback, recording and remote viewing simultaneously without dropping quality. Evidence transfer is handled via USB backup, with the mouse-driven menu system simplifying setup and configuration without needing a keyboard. The grey dome housings mount to walls or soffits using the supplied brackets, with 3.6mm lenses giving a moderate field of view suitable for driveways, building entrances and side passages.
