Recording time depends on resolution, compression and recording mode. With H.265 compression at 2MP across two cameras on motion-triggered recording, expect 4-6 weeks of footage. Continuous recording on all four channels at 2MP reduces this to approximately 10-14 days before the drive overwrites the oldest files.

Can I add more cameras to this system?

Yes. The DVR has four channels total, so two additional analogue cameras can be connected. You will need to purchase cameras separately along with additional cabling and power supply capacity depending on camera draw.

What is the difference between perimeter intrusion detection and standard motion detection?
