Description

The RekorHD RHDC550VFBW is a 2MP (1080p) analogue bullet camera with a motorised 5-50mm varifocal lens, allowing remote adjustment of focal length and viewing angle from 49° wide to 7° telephoto. A 1/2.8" image sensor captures detail in both daylight and low-light conditions, while infrared LED illumination provides visibility up to 60m in total darkness.

Designed for outdoor perimeter surveillance, car parks, driveways and commercial property monitoring, the camera mounts on external walls, eaves or posts using the included bracket. The IP66-rated housing protects internal components from rain, dust and impact, making it suitable for year-round outdoor installation in UK weather conditions. The motorised varifocal lens removes the need for manual adjustment on-site once fitted, with zoom and focus controlled remotely via compatible DVR or control software.

The white metal housing measures 335mm length by 145mm width by 130mm height and weighs 1.8kg, giving substantial presence on external walls without requiring additional bracing on brick or block. The 5-50mm focal range gives flexibility to cover wide areas at short range (e.g. a front door and path) or zoom into distant detail (e.g. a gate 40m away). Infrared LEDs activate automatically in low light, switching the camera to monochrome mode for clearer night imaging.

The camera outputs analogue HD signal compatible with TVI, AHD and CVI DVR formats, requiring a single coaxial cable run from camera to recorder. Power is supplied separately via 12V DC, typically run alongside the video cable or via a local power supply at the camera position.
