Description

The RekorHD 4-channel analogue CCTV kit includes a 4-channel DVR with a pre-installed 500GB hard drive, four 2MP bullet cameras, connection cables and a system power supply. Each camera records at 1080p resolution and carries an IP66 weatherproof rating for outdoor installation. The DVR supports H.265 video compression to extend storage time and reduce hard drive space consumption compared to older H.264 systems.

Designed for residential and small commercial properties, the kit covers up to four separate camera positions — typically front door, rear garden, driveway and side access. Each camera has a 3.6mm fixed lens providing approximately 80-degree field of view, and infrared LEDs rated to 30m range for night vision. The DVR allows continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered recording modes, and multiple cameras can be viewed simultaneously on a connected monitor or remotely via the RekorHD mobile app for Android and iOS.

The DVR includes perimeter intrusion detection and line crossing detection, which trigger alerts when motion is detected within user-defined zones or when an object crosses a virtual line on screen. This reduces false alerts from background movement like trees or passing cars outside the property boundary. The mouse-driven menu system simplifies setup and playback, and footage can be backed up to USB drives for evidence transfer. The white camera housings blend with rendered or painted exterior walls.

The kit ships with all required cables and a 12V power supply for the system. Installation requires mains power at the DVR location and either surface-mounted or recessed cable runs to each camera position. The 500GB hard drive provides approximately 10-15 days of continuous recording from four cameras at 1080p resolution, depending on motion levels and compression settings.
