Description

The RekorHD RHD4KB2W is a 4-channel analogue CCTV kit supplying a DVR recorder with 500GB pre-installed hard drive, two 2MP bullet cameras rated IP66 for outdoor use, and a complete set of power, video and system cables. The DVR records at 1080p resolution using H.265 video compression to reduce storage requirements, and supports perimeter intrusion detection and line-crossing detection for intelligent alerts.

Designed for residential properties, small commercial premises and outbuildings needing entry/exit monitoring, the two bullet cameras cover front doors, driveways, rear access points or yard areas. Each camera carries a 3.6mm fixed lens giving approximately 80° horizontal field of view, and infrared night vision to 30m in complete darkness. The IP66 rating makes them suitable for external wall mounting in all UK weather conditions. The DVR sits indoors and connects to the cameras via coaxial cable (supplied), with remote monitoring available through the RekorHD mobile app on Android or iOS, or via PC web browser.

The 500GB hard drive provides storage for approximately 10-14 days of continuous recording from two cameras at 1080p, depending on scene complexity and motion levels. The DVR supports continuous recording, scheduled recording (e.g. overnight only), or motion-triggered recording to maximise storage efficiency. Video can be backed up to USB for evidence transfer, and the system allows simultaneous playback, live viewing and remote access without interrupting recording. The mouse-driven menu simplifies setup and review. The white finish on the bullet cameras suits lighter-coloured walls and renders, offering a less conspicuous profile than traditional black CCTV housings.

Yes. The DVR has four channels, so you can add up to two additional RekorHD 2MP analogue cameras to expand coverage. Additional cameras are sold separately and connect via standard coaxial cable.

How do I access recordings remotely?

Download the RekorHD mobile app for Android or iOS, or access the DVR through a web browser on a PC. The DVR must be connected to your router via ethernet cable (not supplied) and assigned a local IP address during setup.

How long does 500GB of storage last?
