RekorHD 2MP 4 Channel Analogue CCTV Kit - 2 Bullet Cameras, 1TB DVR - Grey

The RekorHD 2MP 4-channel analogue CCTV kit includes a 4-channel DVR with a pre-installed 1TB hard drive, two grey IP66-rated bullet cameras, all necessary cabling and a system power supply. The cameras record at 2MP (1920×1080) resolution and use H.265 video compression to reduce storage consumption while maintaining image quality. Each bullet camera houses a 3.6mm fixed lens with up to 30m infrared night vision range.

Designed for residential and small commercial perimeter security, the kit covers properties with up to four camera positions (two cameras included, two channels available for expansion). The DVR supports perimeter intrusion detection and line-crossing detection, reducing false alarms by distinguishing between object types entering defined zones. Remote monitoring works via the RekorHD app for Android and iOS or through a PC client, allowing live viewing, playback and recording management from anywhere with internet access.

The DVR operates with a mouse-driven user menu and supports three recording modes: continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered. Footage can be backed up to USB for evidence transfer or archiving. The system allows simultaneous playback, recording and remote viewing without interrupting any function. The IP66 rating on both bullet cameras provides dust-tight sealing and protection against heavy rain, making them suitable for external mounting on walls, soffits or posts.

The grey finish on the cameras and DVR housing blends with painted render, concrete and metal cladding without the stark contrast of black or white housings. Each camera draws power from the included 12V supply, which connects to the DVR and distributes power through the supplied cables.

Can I add more cameras later?

Yes. The DVR has four channels and this kit includes two cameras, leaving two channels available for expansion. Additional RekorHD 2MP analogue cameras compatible with this DVR can be purchased separately.

How long does 1TB record for?

Recording duration depends on resolution, compression settings and recording mode. With H.265 compression at 2MP across two cameras in continuous recording mode, 1TB typically provides 2-3 weeks of footage before overwriting begins.

What's the difference between perimeter intrusion detection and motion detection?

Standard motion detection triggers on any movement, including foliage, rain or shadows. Perimeter intrusion detection and line-crossing detection use object classification to reduce false alarms by filtering out non-human movement within defined zones or crossing defined lines.

Are the cameras suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. Both bullet cameras carry an IP66 rating, providing dust-tight sealing and protection against heavy rain. They're designed for external wall, soffit or post mounting in UK weather conditions.
