Description

The Rekor IP is a 2MP (1080p) PoE dome camera with a 2.8mm fixed lens, white LED illumination and infrared up to 30m, and IP67-rated housing for indoor and outdoor installation. The camera draws power and network connection through a single Ethernet cable using Power over Ethernet (PoE), eliminating the need for separate mains wiring at the camera position.

Designed for residential, small commercial and light industrial surveillance, the dome form factor sits flush against ceilings or soffit overhangs with a low-profile 135mm height. The 2.8mm lens provides a 115° diagonal viewing angle, covering wide areas like driveways, shop floors, warehouse entrances and front gardens from a single mounting point. The white LED and IR array switches automatically between colour recording during the day and monochrome night vision after dark, maintaining visibility up to 30m in complete darkness.

The camera includes a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio monitoring and communication through connected recorder systems or network video management software. A MicroSD card slot supports local recording up to 128GB as backup storage if network connectivity is interrupted. The IP67 ingress protection rating seals the housing against dust and temporary water immersion, allowing the camera to be mounted on external walls, under eaves, or in covered outdoor positions exposed to rain and wind.

The 1/2.8" image sensor captures 1920x1080 resolution video at standard frame rates for IP CCTV systems. The camera integrates with ESP recorders and third-party NVRs supporting ONVIF Profile S. The white housing blends into light-coloured ceilings and fascias in retail, hospitality and residential settings where visible deterrent is preferred over covert monitoring.
