Description

The Rekor 4-channel IP CCTV kit combines a 4-channel PoE NVR (network video recorder) with four 2MP bullet cameras, a pre-installed 1TB surveillance hard drive, and 4 x 18.3m pre-terminated network cables. Each camera records at 1920 x 1080 resolution using H.265 video compression, which reduces file sizes and extends storage capacity compared to older H.264 codecs. The NVR supplies power to all four cameras through the network cables (Power over Ethernet), removing the need for separate camera power supplies.

Designed for residential and small commercial installations covering perimeters, driveways, car parks and building entries, the kit ships ready to install with all components included. The four bullet cameras carry IP66 weatherproof ratings and infrared LEDs providing up to 30m night vision, making them suitable for outdoor mounting. The 3.6mm fixed lens on each camera delivers approximately 80° horizontal field of view, capturing a wide area without requiring pan-tilt mechanisms.

The NVR supports continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered recording modes, with recordings viewable locally via HDMI output to a monitor or remotely through iOS and Android apps. The mouse-driven menu system allows review of footage while recording continues in the background, and USB backup enables transfer of specific footage clips to external storage for evidence purposes. The 1TB hard drive stores approximately 7-10 days of continuous four-camera recording at 2MP resolution with H.265 compression, depending on motion activity in the camera views.

Do the cameras need separate power supplies?

Yes. The NVR supports remote viewing through iOS and Android apps, allowing live viewing and playback of recorded footage from anywhere with internet access. The NVR connects to your router via Ethernet.
