Description

The Rekor 24/7 is a 4-channel IP CCTV kit from ESP consisting of four grey 2MP dome cameras, a 4-channel PoE NVR with a pre-installed 1TB surveillance hard drive, and a 12V system power supply. Each dome camera records at 1080p resolution and combines white LED and infrared capability to deliver colour images during both day and night operation.

Designed for residential and small commercial installation, the kit supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) which means a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable per camera carries both power and data, eliminating the need for separate power cables at each camera location. The four cameras are IP67 weatherproof rated for outdoor use, with a 30m night vision range using IR and a 2.8mm fixed lens providing a wide field of view. The NVR supports continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered recording modes, with remote monitoring via Android and iOS apps or PC software.

The NVR includes intelligent detection features: perimeter intrusion detection and line crossing detection allow the system to trigger alerts when movement crosses defined zones or boundaries, reducing false alarms from general motion. USB backup enables evidence transfer to external drives, and the system supports up to 250m cable runs per camera channel. The 1TB hard drive provides recording capacity based on resolution, frame rate and activity levels — typical storage duration for four cameras recording on motion detection ranges from 2-4 weeks.

Can the cameras record in colour at night?

Yes. Each camera uses white LED illumination combined with infrared capability to deliver colour images during night operation. When ambient light is sufficient, the white LED activates to maintain colour recording. In total darkness, the IR mode provides monochrome night vision up to 30m range.

What cable is needed for installation?

Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable is required from the NVR to each camera. Because the system uses Power over Ethernet (PoE), one cable per camera carries both power and data. The system supports cable runs up to 250m per channel.

How do I access the cameras remotely?
