Description

The Radity magnetic track short adaptor is an 11.5cm connector piece that joins Maytoni magnetic track lighting fixtures to a 48V DC magnetic track rail. The black plastic housing contains the magnetic coupling mechanism and live contacts, allowing fixtures to be clipped onto the track without tools and repositioned along the rail length as needed.

Designed for compact installations where a standard-length adaptor would project too far from the ceiling or where multiple fixtures need to sit close together on a single track run, the short adaptor reduces the vertical drop between the track rail and the fixture mounting point. This makes it suitable for rooms with lower ceilings (under 2.4m), tight alcoves, or track configurations where fixtures need to sit within 15-20cm of each other. The magnetic attachment means fixtures can be added, removed or slid along the track without needing to disconnect the power supply first.

The black finish matches Maytoni's black track rails and black-bodied spotlights, giving a monochrome appearance when all components are from the same finish family. The plastic housing keeps the adaptor lightweight (under 100g) while the internal magnetic contacts are rated for continuous 48V DC operation. The 2.5cm width profile sits flush against the track rail base, and the 5.2cm height includes both the magnetic coupling section and the fixture mounting collar at the bottom.

No. The Radity adaptor is designed for Maytoni's 48V DC magnetic track system and is not compatible with 230V mains-powered track rails from other manufacturers. Can fixtures be repositioned once installed?
