Description

The Radity is a 1m surface-mounted magnetic track built from white-finished aluminium with an internal 48V DC power rail that accepts magnetic spotlight fittings along its entire length. The track profile measures 25mm wide by 5.5mm high, sitting close to the ceiling with a low-profile presence that suits both residential and commercial installations where visible track hardware needs to remain minimal.

Designed for modular track lighting systems in kitchens, retail spaces, galleries and showrooms, the Radity allows spotlights to be positioned and repositioned anywhere along the 1m run without tools or re-wiring. Magnetic fittings clip onto the track and make electrical contact automatically, drawing power from the internal 48V rail. Multiple tracks can be linked end-to-end using connector pieces (sold separately) to create longer runs or corner configurations.

The white powder-coated aluminium finish pairs with white ceilings and minimalist interiors where the track itself needs to recede visually. The 48V DC system operates at extra-low voltage, requiring a separate driver or transformer (sold separately) to step down from 230V mains. The aluminium construction keeps the track lightweight at approximately 180g per metre while providing thermal conductivity to dissipate heat from higher-output spotlights.

The track operates on 48V DC, so a separate 230V-to-48V DC transformer or driver is needed. The driver must be sized to handle the combined wattage of all spotlights attached to the track. Maytoni produces compatible drivers sold separately.

Can spotlights be moved after installation?

Yes. Magnetic spotlights clip onto the track and make electrical contact automatically, allowing them to be repositioned anywhere along the 1m length without tools or re-wiring. This makes the system useful for changing display lighting in retail or gallery settings.

Can multiple tracks be joined together?

Yes. Radity tracks can be linked end-to-end using connector pieces (sold separately) to create longer runs, L-shapes, T-junctions or other configurations. The 48V rail continues through the connectors to maintain power across the entire linked run.

What's the maximum load the track can handle?

The load capacity depends on the driver output and the combined wattage of all attached spotlights. A typical 1m track might support 3-5 spotlights depending on individual fixture wattage. Check the driver specification and ensure the total connected load does not exceed its rated output.
